These terms and conditions (these “Terms”) govern Your registration for and participation in the Dealmakers event you are submitting registration for (the “Event”) and are an agreement between Dealmakers Forums LLC (“Dealmakers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and You. You represent to us that You are authorized to enter into these Terms.

EVENT
You may only register for and attend the Event in accordance with these Terms. To register for the Event, You must complete the Event registration process. Sharing Your registration with another person(s) is a violation of the Code of Conduct and may result in Your access to or participation in the Event being terminated or revoked.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If You are not able to attend in person after registration, a full refund of Your pre-paid registration fee (minus processing fees) will be available provided You cancel Your registration in writing by no later than 30 days or more prior to the event start date. Your cancellation must be received by such deadline and sent in writing to registration(at)dealmakersforums.com. Notices of cancellation sent to any other recipient will not be valid or deemed accepted by Dealmakers. If You decide to cancel Your registration after this date for any reason, Your pre-paid registration fee can be applied toward Your registration to another Dealmakers’ event within 18 months.

Absent the foregoing, Your failure to attend the Event shall not entitle You to receive any refund or credit:

• Cancellation requests received after 30 days or more prior to the event start date will not be eligible to receive a refund but Your pre-paid registration fee can be applied toward Your registration to another Dealmakers’ event within 18 months.
• The foregoing cancellation terms apply to Your registration and any add-on items You may have purchased in connection with Your registration.
• Cancellation due to Health Restriction: If you are unable to attend the event in-person due to illness, You must provide a note from a health provider. Once provided, Your pre-paid registration fee will be able to be applied to Your registration to another Dealmakers’ event within 18 months. Your cancellation must be received twenty four (24) hours prior to the start of the event and sent in writing to registration(at)dealmakersforums.com. Notices of cancellation sent to any other recipient will not be valid or deemed accepted by Dealmakers.
• Your notice of cancellation of registration does not otherwise affect or alter Your hotel and travel arrangements and You remain solely responsible for the costs of Your hotel and travel reservations, including any applicable cancellation charges.
• Your failure to attend the event (“no-show”) does not qualify you for any refund or credit to a future event.

SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Substitutions of colleagues at the same organizational structure level or above are allowed at any time prior to the start of the event, but the substituting individual must be approved for attendance. If the individual is not approved for attendance, the registration will be considered a cancellation subject to the cancellation policy above.

DISCOUNTS AND PROMOTIONAL CODES
All discounts and promotional codes must be applied at the time of payment. Discounts cannot be combined or applied retroactively to existing registrations.

FINANCIAL AID POLICY
Dealmakers Forums LLC has instituted a financial aid policy which may include fee waivers or reductions in certain circumstances. Contact us at info(at)dealmakersforums.com for more information or visit our Financial Aid Policy page.

PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO & VIDEO RECORDING
By attending this Event, You acknowledge and agree that Dealmakers has the right to use, reproduce, broadcast, rebroadcast, or incorporate in any manner whatsoever, all or any portion of photographs and/or videos of You or Your participation in the Event (including Your name, occupation, and employer, and social media profiles if You choose to upload them in Your own discretion) for use in marketing materials and/or training materials and for internal use (“Materials”). You irrevocably, grant, transfer, and assign a nonexclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty free right and license to Dealmakers, if any, in and to the Materials and all copyrights in the Materials arising in any jurisdiction throughout the world, including the right to register and sue to enforce such copyrights against infringers. You understand that the Materials may be substantially edited, altered, rearranged or modified. To the maximum extent permitted by law, You hereby waive any moral rights You may have in the Materials. All media collected at the event become the property of Dealmakers Forums LLC.

DEALMAKERS CODE OF CONDUCT
We are committed to creating a safe environment that is inclusive and free from discrimination, regardless of race, religion (or lack thereof), color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, disability, veteran or marital status, technology choices, or any other protected categories under applicable law.

All participants must abide by the following policy:

Expected Behavior:

• Be considerate of those around You.
• Be respectful of others and viewpoints that may be different from Your own.
• Be mindful of Your words and actions.

Unacceptable behaviors may include, but are not limited to:

• Offensive or unwanted behavior or language related to race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, disability, veteran or marital status, or any other protected categories under applicable law.
• Visual harassment, such as sexual images or sexual language at the Event, including presentations and slide decks.
• Intimidation or bullying, both online and/or in-person.
• Sharing Your event registration or making event content available to a Dealmakers competitor.
• Any other illegal activity not already covered above.
• Sharing Your event registration with another person(s).
• Failure to follow any of the rules or regulations of the event or instructions of the Event staff.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior: Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated and could result in debarment from current, and/or any future Dealmakers events. If a participant is seen engaging in unacceptable behavior, Dealmakers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including expulsion from the Event without warning. If appropriate, local law enforcement may get involved.

Reporting Behavior: If You are the subject of, or witness to any violations of these Terms and Conditions, You can contact us by sending an email to support(at)dealmakersforums.com. If necessary, Event staff are empowered to take appropriate actions that may include, but are not limited to, debarment from the Event and/or involving venue security or local law enforcement. The Terms and Conditions may be revised at any time by Dealmakers and the terms are non-negotiable.

ADMITTANCE
Dealmakers, at its sole discretion reserves the right to refuse or revoke admittance or access to or expel from the Event anyone for any lawful reason, including but not to anyone that is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the Event or any other attendee.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & WAIVER
By registering to attend this Event and participating in Events held by Dealmakers, You hereby acknowledge, understand and agree that:

• You acknowledge and assume full responsibility for risks inherent in any type of physical activity, including the activities at the Event location(s). These risks include health risks, including but not limited to viruses or other communicable diseases, property damage, serious bodily injury, and/or death, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties;
• In addition to these Terms, You have reviewed, acknowledged and agree to abide by Dealmaker’s Event Terms & Conditions, including all applicable health and safety laws, rules, regulations, and governmental recommendations;
• Your attendance and participation in the Event is completely voluntary and that You are attending and participating in the Event of Your own free will and volition;
• It is Your responsibility to ascertain any health conditions You may have that may make it inadvisable for You to participate in the Event or any Event related activity;
• Use of or connection to the internet provides the opportunity for unauthorized third parties to circumvent security precautions and illegally gain access to the event and customer data. Accordingly, Dealmakers cannot and does not guarantee the privacy, security or authenticity of any information transmitted over or stored in any system connected to the internet.

STATEMENT OF LIABILITY
Except where prohibited by applicable law, Dealmakers does not bear any legal liability or responsibility for the safety or health of any attendee participating in this Event. Dealmakers disclaims any liability for the acts of any outside entities related to this Event. Dealmakers reserves the right to cancel the Event without liability.

Each attendee shall be personally responsible for his/her behavior. The organizers do not accept responsibility for the behavior of any attendee or outside entity during the Event. Dealmakers shall not be liable for any delays or failure in performance or interruption of services resulting directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Dealmakers including but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, failure of transportation, weather, accidents, fires, electrical failures, strikes, labor disputes, postal delays, explosions, and government orders or regulations.

Attendees at this Event agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Dealmakers, its officers, directors and agents, against all claims arising out of actions or omissions of attendee at or in connection with this Event. To the maximum extent permitted by law, You (for Yourself, Your heirs, dependents, personal representatives, assigns, and anyone else who might make a claim on Your behalf or as a result of Your death or injury) hereby release Dealmakers, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, suits, damages, losses, debts, liabilities, costs and expenses (including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) that You may have now or in the future associated in any way with the Event or the materials.

Except where prohibited by applicable law, Dealmakers disclaims any and all direct, special, consequential, incidental, punitive or other indirect damages of any kind whether alleged as a breach of contract or tortious conduct, including negligence, or based on any other cause of action.

INFORMATION
Dealmakers may collect, manage and share Your information in accordance with Dealmakers’ Privacy Policy and all applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
